Charity

Charity Work
As part of our ongoing work with our pupils, raising awareness for the needs of others both in our community and beyond is very important. We encourage our pupils to be active in charitable organisations and fund raising activities. Our pupils contribute to, and have fund-raised for:
  • Action Cancer
  • Macmillan Cancer Care
  • Marie Curie Cancer Care
  • St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal
  • The Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Appeal
  • Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity
Sixth form students have the opportunity to travel with Habitat for Humanity every two years. The teams work with Habitat to build decent homes for ordinary people in need. We have sent 3 teams to Romania. In 2020 we plan to visit India.

Camps International
Open to KS4 & KS5 students, Camps International provide a broad experience in charity and conservation work. In 2019 a team traveled to Tanzania. In 2021 a team plans to travel to Cambodia.
