In all aspects of our school life we endeavour to live out and express our school motto, PURSUING EXCELLENCE TOGETHER. Throughout the school year and at our awards ceremonies we acknowledge pupil success in living out our motto and in embracing its spirit. 

Pupils are acknowledged in a variety of ways for their success across the school year, one of the most significant ways is through our SPIRIT OF SPERRIN AWARDS which take place at 2 points in the year. 

PURSUIT AWARDS
Pursuit awards are given to pupils who have significantly exceeded their targets.

EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Excellence awards are presented to pupils who are top performers in their banded classes.

TOGETHERNESS AWARDS
The Togetherness Award is very special and rarely presented. A togetherness award will be presented to pupils who have either shown great character, contributed very significantly to school life, or to charity or their local community. These individuals truly exhibit the spirit of Sperrin.
